McLaughlin School of Irish Dancing

The school was established in 1966 by Kathleen and James McLaughlin in the south side of Glasgow and some 55 years later is still going strong with their daughters Eileen, Kathleen and Sinead leading the teaching team. We are fortunate to have a wide range of dancers from beginner grade right through to championship level.

The school is very proud to have won over 100 championship titles in both solo and team performance. It is our aim to provide every pupil with an enjoyable experience and an opportunity to learn the magnificent form of dance whilst improving both fitness and confidence. We are delighted to offer our beginners class within the excellent facilities of Newton Mearns Parish Church.
