Communion

Communion

We usually celebrate Holy Communion during morning worship on Easter Sunday and on the first Sundays of March, June, September and December. Communion is a very important part of life in the church and we are aware that some find it increasingly difficult to attend our communion service in the morning. For this reason we have added a shorter service in the afternoon, held at 2pm and lasting around 30 minutes. During our vacancy, and while we have a locum minister, please check What’s On to confirm the dates of these services.

Bringing people together

At Newton Mearns Parish Church we want to offer an open door , to reach out to  our community and to ensure that everyone feels welcome here as we explore our Christian Faith together.
