Baptisms

Baptisms

The Church of Scotland believes in infant baptism, and it is usually the first step in the lifelong journey of faith. Baptism can take place at any stage of life and is related to Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist.

Baptisms usually take place during the Sunday morning service and are part of a relationship with and commitment to faith. The Minister is happy to discuss baptism with those who would like to know more about this Church sacrament.

Joining the Church
The Minister is always keen to meet with anyone who is interested in finding out about faith and church membership. From time to time membership classes are held for those contemplating joining the church.
